Experience the darker side of Cockermouth, an historic town with a hidden past lurking in the shadows of the Georgian splendour. If you think you are brave enough come with me and I’ll tell tales of “Boggles ‘n sec lyke” for a very Cumbrian haunting.

The walk starts and ends at The Bush, Main Street. CA13 9JS. Please arrive early as all tickets must be purchased before the start of the walk. You may also wish to allow time for a little something to “steady the nerves”. Please note, there are no facilities en route so you may be advised to visit the rest room before the walk.

Cockermouth Ghost Walks are written with an adult audience in mind but are broadly accessible to children 10 years and above. Please ensure that children are suitably clothed for the conditions.

Accessibility: The Cockermouth Ghost Walks take place on pavements and public footpaths around the town centre. There are a couple of steepish slopes so if you have any mobility concerns please call 07949 909365 for advice.
